Geminids Meteor Shower Stargazing
- 기간: 90 분 (대략)
The Geminids are coming!
For us at Blue Mountains Stargazing, the Geminids are our astronomical End-of-year celebration. The biggest meteor shower of the year can feature up to 150 shooting stars per hour in the best conditions! With the conditions this year, in particular with the Moon position, we can expect about 50 shooting stars visible per hour. That's about one a minute, still something to stay up for!
We will run a special celebratory stargazing tour for the peak of the Geminids on Friday 13 December 2024, 8:30pm-10:00pm.
